Customer Q & A
Canker-X maximum strength pain relieving gel by Butler G.U.M. helps to control mouth sore pain for up to 6 hours without stinging or burning. It forms a protective shield on canker sores and other types of mouth sores, which helps the sore to heal faster, and it contains aloe vera to help soothe sores. Used in conjunction with dental wax or a lip protector, this product will keep your mouth more comfortable when you first get braces, or anytime when you get sores inside your mouth.
This bulk box of Canker-X contains 36 single-use sealed packets, perfect for travel or anytime you are on the go. Each packet contains 4ml of Canker-X; enough for one application to several mouth sores. Because each packet is individually sealed, it is more hygienic than re-using a tube of the product. Keep some in your DentaKit Braces Survival Kit, your purse, your backpack, or at your desk at work.
How to use Canker-X: Apply 1 or 2 drops of gel directly to the sore, to cover the entire sore. To allow the protective barrier to form, do not touch the sore with the tongue for at least two minutes after application. For best results, try to avoid eating or drinking for one hour.
Active Ingredients: Polyvinylpyrrolidone (a micro-thin, invisible protective coating promotes healing and quickly relieves pain for hours) , Sodium Hyaluronate (an ingredient which hydrates the sore), Aloe Vera (an ingredient which soothes the sore).
Additional Information: Store at room temperature, out of direct sunlight. Do not refrigerate. Safe for use on children, but keep the product out of childern's reach.
This is a great product for helping to protect and heal mouth sores, whether they are canker sores or irritation sores from your braces. Use this product 2 or 3 times daily in conjunction with dental wax for orthodontic mouth sores, and you will be much more comfortable. It doesn't sting when you apply it, and it doesn't have a strong taste or odor.
You can find tubes of Canker-X in local drugstores, but these packets are handy for travel, and more hygienic than tubes.
